Casablanca Airport to the City: Train, Taxi, and Which Terminal

Mohammed V International Airport has a railway station under Terminal 1, with direct access to the airport concourse. ONDA, Morocco’s airport authority, says trains from the airport run directly to Bouskoura, Ennassim, Facultés, L’Oasis, Casa-Voyageurs and Casa-Port.

That makes the train useful for more than one city station. Choose the stop that fits your complete journey rather than defaulting automatically to Casa-Voyageurs.

Finding the train

The railway station is in the basement of Terminal 1. ONDA publishes separate Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 passenger areas and directs travellers to identify the terminal for their flight. It does not support the old MoroccoMag claim that you need a shuttle bus between T2 and the T1 railway station.

If you arrive through Terminal 2 and want the train, follow the airport signs toward Terminal 1 and the railway station. Do not build your connection around an unverified shuttle timetable.

Train to Casablanca

ONDA’s current airport guidance states:

• the station is in the basement of Terminal 1;
• the journey to Casa-Voyageurs is about 30 minutes;
• the fare is 50 MAD in second class and 70 MAD in first class;
• trains departing the airport generally operate from 06:50 to 22:50;
• direct stops include both Casa-Voyageurs and Casa-Port, as well as L’Oasis and other intermediate stations.

Treat 06:50 to 22:50 as ONDA’s general published window, not a promise for every date. Check the actual ONCF timetable for your flight day before relying on it.

If your accommodation is closer to Casa-Port or another direct airport-line stop, do not assume Casa-Voyageurs is the only useful city station. If you are connecting to another intercity train, inspect the complete ONCF itinerary and station names.

Taxi

Do not plan around an old secondary-source taxi range.

If using a taxi, confirm the applicable fare or agree the total before departure where the ride is not metered. Current FCDO advice recommends agreeing a fare in advance or checking that a taxi is using a meter.

Before you travel

Check the terminal for your flight and search the day’s ONCF timetable. If you are continuing beyond Casablanca, search the whole rail journey rather than assuming that one Casablanca station is always the correct interchange.
