MoroccoMag (“we,” “us”) publishes travel and expat guides for Morocco at moroccomag.com. This page explains what information we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you sign up for our newsletter: we collect your email address. That’s it. We don’t ask for your name, location, or anything else to subscribe.

Your email is stored and managed by our email service provider, MailerLite. Depending on which signup form you use (our “Visiting” or “Living” guides), you’re added to the corresponding list, which just determines which guides we might mention to you. It isn’t a different privacy arrangement.

If you use our tools or browse guides: the Cost of Living Calculator, Neighborhood Explorer, and Darija Phrasebook all run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into them is sent to us or stored anywhere.

We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated before it does, not after.

Who else sees this data

MailerLite (our email provider) processes your email address to send our newsletter and manage subscriptions. Their own privacy policy governs how they handle it: MailerLite’s Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, they process standard technical data (IP addresses, browser type) needed to serve you the page. This is infrastructure-level data, not something we access or use for tracking.

Unsplash hosts the photos on this site on its own servers, not ours. Loading a page with an image means your browser requests that image directly from Unsplash, the same way it would from any image CDN.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone else for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. If you’d like your email address deleted from our list entirely, or want to know exactly what data we hold about you, email contact@moroccomag.com and we’ll handle it.

If you’re in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it on the homepage.
