The Marrakech International Film Festival has confirmed its 23rd edition for 20 to 28 November 2026, nine days in the second half of the month.

The festival has an established tradition of free public screenings on Jemaa el-Fna, the main square. A large screen goes up, and several thousand people watch a film in the open air in a space otherwise occupied by orange juice carts and storytellers.
