PSA Group Reports 5% Sales Growth in Morocco

As part of its “Push to Pass” strategic growth plan, the PSA Group has indicated that 31 of the plan’s 121 launches will be completed by the end of 2017 in the Group’s six regions.

According to its latest financial results, the PSA Group is continuing its product offensive launched in 2016 as part of its “Push to Pass” strategic growth plan. The new SUV Peugeot 3008, with 28 awards including the “Car of the Year” 2017, recorded 114,900 sales in the first half, while the new 5008, launched in March 2017, already registered 21,400 sales. In addition, the new Citroën C3 recorded 120,000 sales in the first half, allowing the brand’s orders to jump 68% since the beginning of the year.
In the Middle East and Africa region, the PSA Group continued its profitable growth, totaling 277,900 sales, including sales growth in Morocco (+ 5%) and Turkey (+ 5%).

In Europe, the PSA group recorded a 4% increase in registrations and a sales volume of 1,036,000 vehicles in the first half of 2017, down 1.9%.
