The MEBAA Conference, taking place 11 September 2017 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Marrakech has announced the agenda for the one day event. The conference will investigate the challenges and opportunities facing the business aviation market in the region, focusing on specific areas such as cyber security, aircraft financing and investment, FBOs and market analysis.

H.E. Mohammed Sajid, Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Crafts and Social Economy, Morocco will give the keynote address, which will be followed by a keynote presentation by Zouhair El Aoufir, CEO of Office Nationale des Aeroports (ONDA)  that will focus on Morocco’s business aviation airport project. In addition the conference is supported by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, Morocco.

“The MEBAA Conference aims to continue the business aviation industry in Morocco to drive forward,” says Ali Alnaqbi, Founding and Executive Chairman of the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA). “The event will provide the attendees with an invaluable insight into many key areas of the industry, while also identifying opportunities for growth. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the market and the tools to grow their businesses in conjunction with the burgeoning market.”

In addition to presentations, other sessions will take the form of interactive panel discussions including: legislation, registration and regulations for the business aviation market in North Africa; risk management and safety management systems; and North Africa’s MRO market and the supply chain

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with key players and industry leaders throughout the day, to discuss specific areas of business aviation, identify opportunities, seek solutions to challenges facing the industry and of course do business.

“The importance of peer discussion and face-to-face business cannot be underestimated throughout MENA,” Alnaqbi continues. “MEBAA aims to provide a platform for these important aspects to the business aviation industry and across the region through the MEBAA Conference series.”

The MEBAA Conference in Morocco will be followed by the MEBAA Show Morocco, a two-day event at Marrakech Menara Airport.
