This is the first time that such a competition has been organized on the African continent,

Besides its sporting dimension, this championship which drains many international media, is an excellent opportunity to highlight the tourist potentialities of Agadir and its region.
Some 70 pilots representing about 20 nationalities and more than 1,500 people in total (staff, pilots, delegations) will be attending, and all have confirmed their presence for the World Finals Morocco Grand Prix.
Expected countries include France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Germany, United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Egypt, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon.
